When I’m not facilitating lessons or workshops in and around Wiltshire/Gloucestershire, you’ll find me at an improv class or curled up on the sofa with a good book, my husband and my cat.

About Me

I have been working in education for the past ten years. From primary school teaching to managing a national network of teachers’ book groups and from peripatetic music and drama coaching to programming for The Times and The Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival, all the work I do aims to support children and young people to be creative and confident readers, writers, talkers… and if they choose, performers!

In addition, I previously sat on the Primary and Early Years Committee and the English 4-11 Editorial Board for the English Association and on the judging panels for the Reading Teachers = Reading Pupils programme and the English 4-11 Picture Book Awards.
